Accompanying Minghella in this transition is Sharon Taylor, who will be taking the reins as the head of production on feature animation based out of Vancouver. Reputation and Experience
Minghella’s extensive background at Bad Robot as the President of Motion Pictures showcases her prowess in handling all aspects of live action, animation, and documentary features. Prior to her time at Bad Robot, Minghella spent almost 15 years at Sony Pictures and Columbia, overseeing the launch of hit franchise films such as Cloudy With a Chance of Meatballs, Hotel Transylvania, The Smurfs, and The Amazing Spider-Man, among others.
Dan Lin, Netflix’s Chairman of Film, expressed his excitement about Minghella joining the team, highlighting her unique skill set and experience in overseeing franchise films across animation and live-action.
